# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes like your favorite deli sandwich got turned into a fork-friendly meal.
  • You can make it ahead and it actually gets better after sitting in the fridge for a few hours.
  • Everything bagel seasoning does the flavor work so you dont have to measure out six different spices.
  • Its filling enough to be lunch on its own but light enough that you wont feel weighed down.
02 -
  • Rinse the pasta completely cold or the residual heat will wilt the vegetables and make the dressing separate.
  • Dont add the dressing while the pasta is still warm unless you want a greasy mess.
  • If you make this the night before, hold back a tablespoon of dressing to stir in before serving because pasta absorbs it as it sits.
03 -
  • Toast the sesame seeds in your everything bagel seasoning lightly in a dry pan before adding them to the dressing for deeper flavor.
  • If the salad looks dry after chilling, stir in a splash of cold water or a drizzle of olive oil to loosen it up.
  • Make a double batch of the dressing and keep it in a jar for quick salads throughout the week.
