Cabbage and Kale Detox Juice (Printable)

Vibrant green juice with cabbage, kale, cucumber, and apple for a refreshing detox boost.

# What You'll Need:

→ Vegetables

01 - 1 cup green cabbage, chopped
02 - 1 cup kale leaves, stems removed, chopped
03 - 1 small cucumber, peeled and chopped
04 - 1 stalk celery, chopped

→ Fruit

05 - 1 green apple, cored and chopped
06 - Juice of 1 lemon

→ Flavorings

07 - 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
08 - 1/2 cup cold water (optional, for blending)

# How-To:

01 - Wash all vegetables and fruit thoroughly under cool running water. Remove stems from kale leaves, core the apple, peel the cucumber, and peel the ginger. Chop cabbage, kale, cucumber, celery, and apple into pieces sized appropriately for your juicer or blender.
02 - Feed the cabbage, kale, cucumber, celery, apple, and ginger through your juicer in alternating order. Squeeze the lemon juice directly into the collected juice. Stir vigorously to combine all flavors thoroughly before serving.
03 - Place all chopped vegetables, apple, ginger, lemon juice, and cold water into a high-powered blender. Blend on high speed until completely smooth and no visible pieces remain, approximately 1-2 minutes.
04 - Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag positioned over a large bowl. Press firmly with a spatula or squeeze the bag to extract all liquid, discarding the remaining pulp or reserving for another use.
05 - Pour the fresh green juice into glasses over ice cubes if desired. Enjoy right away to maximize nutritional benefits, as raw juice begins to oxidize and lose nutrients within 15-20 minutes.
